An Open Invitation to Worldwide KolDor MembersIt Would Be Great To Have As Many of You as Possible Join Us to Emphasize the Global Nature of This EventA Reception to mark the historic launching of the first annual global Jewish Social Action Month (JSAM) on Monday 21st November in the Houses of Parliament. The initiative aims to promote Jewish unity, peoplehood and social justice programs in Jewish communities throughout the world Following the official launch last week in the Knesset, and the US Congress on Capitol Hill, with Senator Lieberman, and Congressman Steve Israel, we will be holding a reception in London On Monday 21st of
November, 7pm – 8.15pm Hosted by Louise Ellman MP, and joining us will be Ivan Lewis MP Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Lord Greville Janner, other MPs, Peers. and Dignitaries from the Israeli Embassy, our youth groups, members of our community and the wider community. More details to follow shortly. You and all of your members, friends and family are invited - we want to start promptly so please aim to get to Parliament for 6.30 pm as security is tight and it is taking a while to get in at the moment. Jewish Social Action Month is an initiative of Kol Dor. The Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, and Rabbi Michael Melchior, Deputy Minister with responsibility for the World Jewish Community, are active and valued partners in JSAM.
